Chelsea Senior Living Opens Washington Township

Strong partnership between Chelsea Senior Living and Capitol Seniors Housing expands to Bergen County, NJ with plans of future developments in progress throughout New Jersey and New York
Chelsea Senior Living (“Chelsea”), a leader in senior care, lifestyle, and housing, has opened its newest Assisted Living and Memory Care community today, The Chelsea at Washington Township, in Bergen County, New Jersey, and has welcomed its first residents.

The Chelsea at Washington Township, Bergen County’s newest senior living community, will provide first-class amenities included with rent such as three restaurant-style meals per day, weekly housekeeping and laundry services, concierge services, expert clinical care, 24/7 professional services, on-site therapy services from Fox Rehab, vibrant activities programming, on-site maintenance services, a movie theater, a social lounge with a balcony, a media center, a fitness center, themed parties, and group trips.

Chelsea and CSH are working together on their next Assisted Living and Memory Care community in West Orange, New Jersey located at 609 Eagle Rock Avenue. That’s projected to open in 2025. Future projects in New Jersey and New York are also being planned but have not been finalized at this time.
Chelsea also opened its Fair Lawn, New Jersey community this year for Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care. Trammell Crow Company (TCC) is the owner of the property.
This will be Chelsea’s second community in Bergen County, 18th in New Jersey, and 23rd overall.
