Scott’s passion is communication and seeing that every voice is given the precious attention it deserves. He also loves seeing the residents participating in activities, even participating in some himself. He believes that there are always new and creative activities to encourage socialization and stimulation. Each day he wakes up knowing that he can make a positive impact on someone’s life.
Scott began his career in the hotel industry after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Hotel Management. While he enjoyed the service aspect—helping people find flights, rooms, etc.—the job was not filled with as much interaction as he had hoped. He decided to switch gears and Scott soon found himself working closely with the senior population.
Scott is proud of the longevity of the line staff in the building. There are a number of employees who have been with the Chelsea for over 10 years, while others have stayed since the building opened 30 years ago. Couple those assets with the warm and inviting feel inside, The Chelsea at Montville provides a wonderful home for our seniors.
Scott, a Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA), enjoys the outdoors, surfing, the beach and hiking mountain trails.
