Kathy’s entry into senior care was sparked by the connection and love she shared with her grandparents. They were active and independent for most of their lives and Kathy made it her goal to see that other seniors had this same opportunity. It was then she got deeper insight into the senior community and the importance of their knowledge and life experience.
Kathy’s goals are to promote teamwork, provide excellent care and ensure that the residents feel a sense of belonging. She accomplishes this by connecting the residents to the outside community, giving them the opportunity to make a difference.
Kathy has held many different positions over the years working in senior living. These different roles have given her a multifaceted perspective, which in turn provided her with a greater understanding of the compassion necessary to help the residents along their journey.
Kathy is a Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA). When she is not at work, Kathy is an avid reader and enjoys any type of creative art. She has three daughters and says that the best times are spent with them.
