The Chelsea at Manalapan offers Assisted Living and Memory Care to seniors who are looking for a worry-free lifestyle in Monmouth County. Located right off Route 9, the community can be accessed via Union Hill Road and County Road 3, Tennent Road.
The Chelsea at Manalapan has a rich history in the township. It has been a centerpiece for decades and continues to welcome families and friends to enjoy all the great events happening at our community with our seniors.
If you’re visiting, make sure to dine at the many restaurants along Route 9 and throughout the town including Nonna’s Cucina, Mezza Luna, Aunt Butchies of Brooklyn, Project Brunch, and more. There’s also plenty of shopping, especially Maple Leaf Farms right next door! We’re also surrounded by medical services and close to Hackensack Meridian Health Old Bridge Hospital.

Desiree leads the team at The Chelsea at Manalapan in all operational and business initiatives. She is responsible for maintaining high-level performance in all areas of service at Manalapan.
Desiree has been in Assisted Living industry for 12 years. Prior to accepting the role as Executive Director, she was an Assisted Living Coordinator at The Chelsea at Brick.
Before that, she was working at The Lakewood Courtyard. She started there as a dietary aide. She soon moved into the nursing side of senior living where she held various positions such as as Home Health Aide and Certified Medication Aide.
She was then elevated to Staffing Coordinator and, shortly after, an Administrative Assistant.
Desiree is a Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA).
On her time off, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and four children: two boys and two girls. They love traveling, exploring new places, and just sitting at home with Denzel, Archie, and Draco – their two dogs and bearded dragon.
