Lona joined us in 2015 as a Food Service Director after spending 12+ years in Contract Healthcare Support Services with industry leaders Aramark, Servicemaster and Sodexo. She has worked in both acute care and senior living settings.
Lona is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Assisted Living Administrator. She has a BSC in Culinary Arts minoring in Leadership Studies, and a Master’s in Business Administration. For the last four years she has been a Food Service Director mentor, Serv Safe instructor and proctor.
Elyssa leads the sales and marketing initiatives at The Chelsea at Bridgewater in her role as the Director of Community Relations. Under her leadership, she is responsible for developing a cohesive community by connecting with families, residents and businesses alike, and driving the sales process.
Prior to Chelsea, Elyssa worked in the customer service industry for 16 years where she was soon managing and training staff.
Elyssa’s passion for serving and helping people led her to The Chelsea. She started as the Lead Concierge at The Chelsea at Warren, a Somerset County leader in senior living. After that, she was promoted to Independent Living/Move in Coordinator for The Chelsea at Warren’s prestigious Independent Living community.
In her free time, Elyssa loves to cook, workout, go shopping and be with her family and her partner Justin.
