For the first time since 2019, The Chelsea at East Brunswick, an Assisted Living and Memory Care community, hosted their chicken and ribs fundraiser for law enforcement.
Despite COVID-19 restrictions, The Chelsea at East Brunswick raised over $6,500 during their grab-and-go dinner to support the local Police Benevolent Associations (PBA).
The annual event, which was not held last year due to the pandemic, has consistently raised thousands of dollars for Local PBA #145 and #145A. At this year’s event, The Chelsea at East Brunswick prepared 610 dinners that consisted of chicken, ribs, sides, and dessert.
Two years ago, the event raised about $4,500. In 2018, the community raised almost $4,000.
