The Chelsea Lifestyle
At Chelsea Senior Living, we believe that senior living means promoting independence in a protected environment. From relaxing in the privacy of your own apartment to filling your days with games and outings, our residents have the opportunity to enjoy their Golden Years in the comfort of home and with safety protocols in place to keep them healthy and COVID-free.
Activities at each Chelsea residence are led by an experienced Lifestyle Director and staffed by a wholesome team of recreation professionals. Activities are tailored to meet the needs of each resident, with a monthly calendar chock-full of stimulating events. While our Assisted Living environment is a social model, the pandemic has forced us to change things up to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. We have modified our activities for small, socially distanced groups and one-on-one activities in each resident’s apartment.
Even under today’s challenging conditions, the Chelsea model is one of community support. Strong ties and tight-knit friendships mean that residents are never alone in their journey. Young or old, all who walk through our doors have the opportunity to enjoy the warmth of our home and the compassion of our staff in a safe and caring setting.
In addition to the many activities for my mother and the other residents, the Chelsea provides many special events that include families – from car shows and casino nights to holiday parties and egg hunts. Everyone is made to feel very welcomed.
Every resident has access to our monthly calendar of events. Free to partake at will, seniors enjoy countless opportunities for fun, including:
- Good News discussion group
- Morning exercise
- Classes in Music, Art, and Computer/Internet Skills
- Lunch trips and Entertainment outings
- Book Club
- Educational courses
- Educational/Psychoeducational seminars

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of our many scheduled outings, including visits to the bank, grocery store, post office, etc. Transportation is available for medical appointments, religious services, and organized community events.
