Chelsea Senior Living Lifestyle

In addition to the many activities for my mother and the other residents, the Chelsea provides many special events that include families – from car shows and casino nights to holiday parties and egg hunts. Everyone is made to feel very welcomed.

At Chelsea Senior Living, we believe that assisted living means being able to do the things you really enjoy – whether it’s relaxing in the privacy of your apartment or filling your days with games, trips and classes. On any day of the week, our residents have the choice to do both!

Each Chelsea assisted living community is staffed by an activities director and a Lifestyle Director and a team of recreation professionals. They tailor the activities schedule to meet the needs of each resident. Our monthly calendars are full of games and events; trips to shopping, entertainment and cultural destinations; discussion groups developed by residents; and many learning life-long opportunities, including classes in art, music, cooking and computers.

Each Chelsea location is also part of a larger community, and we encourage strong ties to the people and groups who make up that community. Many of our activities are open to the public, including presentations and other special events. We also welcome groups of all ages to use our community rooms for their meetings and events. Everyone who walks through our doors has the opportunity to experience our warm, homelike environment and our caring, compassionate staff.

  • Music, art, and Internet classes
  • Lunch trips and entertainment at local community centers

Residents can also take advantage of our many scheduled outings, including visits to local banks, grocery stores, post offices, and pharmacies; transportation to doctor’s appointments; lunch at a local community center with entertainment; shopping trips; theatre outings; and transportation to all area religious services.
