Chelsea independent living offers 31 beautiful, spacious studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom private rental apartments attached to our Fanwood community, plus 12 luxury 2-bedroom apartments across the street, which we call The Lofts at Chelsea. All of our independent living apartments are for active seniors who do not require skilled nursing care and who want to enjoy the security, support, and social and recreational opportunities that a Chelsea community provides.
Our independent living residents are just a short walk from the bustling Fanwood business district with easy access to shopping, dining, beauty salons, nearby parks, the public library and much more. The attractions of New York City are only an hour away via the downtown train station or bus stop, which also provide convenient transportation to New Jersey shore beaches and many other destinations. Transportation to medical appointments can be arranged upon request.
