From the New Jersey Turnpike
Northbound. Exit 8A, stay to the right out of the toll booths and make a right turn at the first traffic light, which is Cranbury-South River Road. Travel north for approximately 6 miles. After you pass the light at Fern Road, the Chelsea will be on your right after the Post Office and the Kindercare. It is a large yellow and white mansion.
Southbound. Exit 9 to Route 18 South (stay to the left after the toll booths, and follow the directions from Route 18 below).
From Route 18
Southbound. After you enter East Brunswick, the road will be a six lane divided highway with lights at the intersections. After a few miles, you will come to the first overpass. Get into the right lane. The next exit will be for Cranbury Road (Rt. 535). Take the first exit for Cranbury Road (Rt. 535) towards Cranbury. The road will fork after a cemetery on your right. Stay to the left. This is still Cranbury Road. The Chelsea will be on your left after about 4 miles. It is right after the light at Lexington Avenue. It is a large yellow and white mansion.
Northbound. Exit at the jughandle for Rues Lane. Cross over Route 18 and follow Rues Lane to the third traffic light which is Cranbury Road. Make a left onto Cranbury Road. After about one mile, you will see the Chelsea on the left side. It is a large yellow and white mansion right after the light at Lexington Avenue. (Note: Rues Lane becomes Ryders Lane after the first traffic light.)
From Route 1
Southbound. Exit at second exit for Ryders Lane, towards East Brunswick. Travel south for 4 1/2 miles to the light at Cranbury Road. Turn right onto Cranbury Road and proceed about one mile. The Chelsea is a large yellow and white mansion on the left. Just after the light at Lexington Avenue.
Northbound. Exit at first exit for Ryders Lane, towards East Brunswick. Then follow directions from Route 1 southbound.
From Route 287
Southbound. Exit Route 287 at River Road (exit just after Easton Avenue). Make a right turn off the exit, and after awhile you will see a sign for Route 18 south. Follow the instructions from Route 18 south above.
Northbound. Exit at Route 1 south. Then follow directions for Route 1 southbound above.
